Attached to this article are two documents:
- A Fall Protection & Prevention Plan for the safe operating of scissor lifts.
- An inspection checklist of all scissor lifts prior to their operation.
All operators are required to review the Fall Protection & Prevention Plan and perform the scissor lift inspection checklist prior to turning on the scissor lift.
Only employees with a current certification to Work From Heights are authorized to operate a scissor lift.
For questions on the plan or the checklist, please contact your direct manager, your local Joint Health & Safety Representative, or Human Resources. If you wish to become certified to work from heights, please contact your direct manager or Human Resources.
